Is there a way to add stationery to gmail?  I couldn't find anything in Labs, but that doesn't mean anything.  Of course, I could do my emails in Word and then copy and paste them to an email, but I was wondering if you know a way to actually do that within the gmail function.  Thanks!

I actually don't know Jet.  I do know how to add a picture signature to gmail. You can use the tool called "wise stamp".  Perhaps someone else will be able to answer the stationary questions ..

I heard Jet mention that whenever a new post is made she gets an email notification that someone posted something.  How do I turn this feature on?

Hi Diana,

To the left of the box that first requires math and then you click post to subscribe are two lines.  One says subscribe to this topic and the other says watch this topic.  If you click on the "x" to make it a green check, you will be subscribed!  You'll have to do it on each topic, but then you'll get the notifications – like I have with the wonderful posts you've put on the Forum site today!  Thank you!

Hi Diana .. are you writing directly into the post, or writing in word first and pasting?  If so, that may be the problem. Try pasting first into notepad which will take out the formating.

Otherwise … if you know html .. you might try using that button.

Thank You Beca.  Yes that is what I do.  Copy and paste from Word.  Also I noticed the times of posts etc seem to be on central time is that on purpose?

Great – then we have answered that question!  As far as the time zone, it is set in each member profile.  If the member hasn't set their time zone, it defaults .. I guess to central time.  Good eye .. hadn't noticed that!

I just went in and updated my profile, and under one of the tabs there is a box to check to automatically subscribe to any topic I post to.  So now I don't have to go in and subscribe to each post individually!

Hi, I'm responding so you keep posting!  Smile  And it's in personal options.  It appears that the server is located in the central time zone.  So you'll have to go in to personal options on your profile and type '+1' to get to EST.  When you update your profile, check the time on your posts to see if they agree with your time.  I just did and it worked for me!  Also, personal options is where you can automatically subscribe to any topic you post on.  Saves some work!  I was deleted the notification email, but since I'm in gmail, they just keep piling up in one line, so I'm keeping them to see how many updates we get in one day….

Ok now I know you are looking at a different profile.  the ONLY thing in my personal options is color scheme selection.  is my profile messed up?  or is there another profile place?  I click on "my account" which brings me to a simple page for profile. no tabs etc and personal options allows me to change color scheme.  any further suggestions???  If it is easier for you, you dont have to respond to my post here you can just send me an email if that is easier for you.

I meant different selections under the profile.  Doesn't change the look of the forum at all.  Sorry for the mis-communication!  There are, I think, four different buttons or tabs in your profile to choose from and the one that has the time zone and auto-subscribe is personal options……  Is that better said?  Embarassed

when i go to my account it drops down to profile which has one tab that isnt really active and that says "your profile" the page displays different sections the top of which is personal options.  but it is not a tab it is just a list.  and the only option is color scheme.  is something wrong with my profile?  or is there another place?  and please fell free to send me direct email if that is easier for you..
