Thanks Jet – about The Four Essential Questions book!

Here's a book everyone will love .. even the kids in the council.

Re-read "The Wind In The Willows". It's actually free on Kindle.

What a beautiful book depicting behaviors of friendship, revealing how suggestions can take us over, but friends are there to guide us back to ourselves.

PLUS what glorious descriptions of nature.

The chapter "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" is a wonderful description of how IT feels ..

Read it as a child and let your imagination build the world of Toad, Mole, Rat and Badger .. or as an adult and not only see it in your imagination but soak in the lovely messages.

Perfect summer reading ..

Just saw the Michel Thomas videos on PerU and was moved by Michel's approach. He knew that the environment for learning needed to be relaxed, have no rigidity, no formality. The posture of the learners was  relaxed. Sinking into their chairs they could sin into learning. Absorbing thoughtfully by realizing what they were learning of the structure of French in a relaxed non competitive atmosphere produced great and amazing results. I'm buying the course!

The more I read, using a Spiritual point of view and premise, the more I see corollaries between the writers who have so deeply touched my life.

Living in Grace – What we perceive to be reality magnifies

The Power of Silence – War, for a warrior, is the total struggle against that individual self that has deprived man of his power…. [Don Juan] went on to say that sorcerers believed it was the position of the assemblage point which made modern man a homicidal egotist… and in doing so, he succeeded in fixing his assemblage point in the exact position to perpetuate his self-image.

The 13 Original Clan Mothers – It may take practice for some people to let go, getting rid of the adopted mess of chatter that has been collected from others over the years.  This mental dusting and house-cleaning is necessary to clear the Sacred Space of other limiting viewpoints.

There's so much more, and it continues to unfold for me, in words, and thoughts, and experience.  Learning, Learning!

The other day I read the last chapter of The 13 Original Clan Mothers.  I don't think I had read it before; I think I didn't quite finish the book at the time I was reading it.  But I read 'the 7 points of wisdom' that reminded me so much of The 7 Keys to Grace that I will share them with you.

The 7 points of wisdom from The 13 Original Clan Mothers by Jamie Sams

  • There are no rules on how to grow or change.
  • All self-imposed rules or judgments are limiting illusions.
  • The Great Mystery cannot be solved, so don't try.
  • Everything you seek can be found inside of you.
  • Laughter and irreverence dissolve the illusions and the fear.  (My personal favorite.)
  • Unseen worlds exist within the tangible and cannot be separated.
  • You ARE, the moment you decide to BE.

The 7 Keys to Grace from Living in Grace – The Shift to Spiritual Perception by Beca Lewis:

  1. Be Willing
  2. Become Aware
  3. Understand Signs and Symbols
  4. Learn Perception Rules
  5. Shift to Spiritual Perception
  6. Walk As One
  7. Celebrate With Gratitude
