As I sat in quiet time this morning, I finally had a glimmer of how I really feel about freedom.  I suppose I should type it as Freedom, because I am referring to the principle, which I tend to capitalize.  (Makes me feel like Pooh to Capitalize the Words, and I like to feel like Pooh.)

There is one Freedom that can never be taken away.  In The Shift, we would say there is One Freedom.  Okay, but taking Diana's question to heart, I dug deeper – just what does that MEAN to me?

No one can take away my freedom to think.  I can think whatever I want, whenever I want.  And nothing can stop that.  Ever.  Without my permission and agreement.  My thoughts are mine to have whenever, regardless of what anyone else does to me – tie me up, lock me in a cage, make it against the law, charge me extra for it, even if I can't pay it, they can't stop me from thinking.  (Obviously, I am expressing this from the world view, or from a material, small r reality viewpoint, not from the spiritual view, since none of that ever happens in a spiritual viewpoint.)

So I am free to think, to worry, to dream, to choose, to love, to feel, free to imagine.  No matter what the world looks like "out there," my thoughts are my own to have, and even if someone "changes my mind" for me, it is MY choice to change it, it's MY agreement to their way of thinking, not theirs to impose on me.

So the real freedom is thought.  Nothing can stop me from thinking.

By golly, I'm going to think the best thoughts I possibly can, because they are mine, and that's what I choose to do.

I'm going to dream as big as I can possibly dream, and immerse myself in those dreams as fully as I can.

I'm going to imagine, not seven impossible things before breakfast, but seven thousand, all the time, every second.

Live in a dream world?  You bet!

Live with my head in the clouds?  Darn tootin'!

Because it's my Freedom to do so.  It's that one thing that is absolutely Free, and nothing can prevent me from it.

If it is, and I firmly believe that it is, and it's my Free Choice to believe that it is, a Thought Universe, then my image of the Universe is Free and Beautiful, indeed.

I love that this depth of thought is "running rampent" and that we are sharing it here!  Thank you Jet!

I know that Jet has already seen it, but to go along with this expanding idea is the lastest Shift Ezine.
