PERCEPTION U Blog What would you like to know, or me to know?

What would you like to know, or me to know?

As I we plan for 2010, with the intent to serve The Shift community well, it occurred to me to ask. Imagine that. Ask you what you might want to find here at Perception U. Or what bugs you and you would like to be different?

Or perhaps you have questions about something you heard or read on the site.

This all led me to posting this topic. I, and perhaps other readers, will respond. Imagine that; we could start a conversation.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I’ve visited Perception U before, but this is the first time I noticed the RSS feed. As I checked it out and read all that had been posted, I realized that the selections have been posted on here for almost an entire year. So where have I been? I don’t know, but maybe I just wasn’t looking around, or simply didn’t see what’s always been there!
Yes, I can see that there has been lots of work going into bringing this to us.I’m still not certain what an RSS feed is other than it appears to be a forum for gathering comments on PerceptionU. Is that correct? Is there more to it? And Trackback URI? I’ll have to check that out next visit. I see that I have much to catch up with on this web site! Barbara

I’ve just subscribed to RSS feed for Perception U (am I the first or last one to wake up to this?)after reading Q & A about RSS feeds even though it’s late and past my bedtime.
Thank you for another reminder that what we’re looking for is already present!B

Hi Barbara … so glad you found the RSS feed. As you discovered it is a simple way to see what is going on. We are so used to having these feeds without knowing the name of how they got there (all those news items on our home pages) that it appears a mystery when we first learn about it.

    Very symbolic doesn’t it?

    Hi,

I’m wondering if there is a way to put icons on the website to augment the pages? Some people find it easier to find an icon than a line of text. Just a thought!

Hey Jet, I actually haven’t ignored this question. I have been “figuring” it out in the background.

You may just get your wish. But, first I am working on the redesign of this site, and then .. maybe those images will appear.

    Thanks for asking! Beca
