I love a good story. It doesn’t matter what kind; mystery, romance, fantasy, or drama, they are all wonderful.
I can drift away for hours in a good story. If it is an excellent story, I will feel the presence of the characters for days, and sometimes years. Their essence becomes part of how I see the world, building my understanding of both possibilities, and pitfalls.
A good story is a gift. However, I don’t want my life to be a good mystery, fantasy, drama, or even romance. I don’t want to live a story, any kind of story, good, bad, or great. I don’t think you do either!
