The Invitation

There is a personal history behind this first one. When I first started teaching The Shift in a class form, one of the participants – who taught theater – suggested that I learn to enunciate more clearly (she was very kind about it.) She gave me this piece to read aloud to myself and memorize. Not only did it help the way I speak, but it shifted my feelings about what love is too. I bet it will do the same for you!
